Pumpkin Carving... Underwater?! Dive Right In Scuba's Halloween Extravaganza!

Hold onto your masks, folks, because things got spooky (and a bit soggy) at Dive Right In Scuba! We recently hosted our annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving event at Haigh Quarry, and let's just say, it was a monstrously good time.

Imagine a horde of divers, armed with dive knives and grins as wide as Jack Nicholson in The Shining, descending into the depths to carve some seriously impressive pumpkins. Okay, maybe it wasn't exactly a scene from Terrifier 3 (a movie I refuse to watch), but it was definitely a sight to behold.

A Spooktacular Success!

The creativity and enthusiasm of our participants blew us away. Divers of all ages and skill levels showed up ready to showcase their pumpkin-carving prowess, and the results were gourd-geous! (I am going to get banned from using puns.)

From intricate underwater scenes to hilarious jack-o'-lantern faces, these divers truly outdid themselves. And the costumes? Don't even get us started! We had everything from bananas to mermaids to a duo of Beetlejuices (Beetlejeece? Beetlejuicai?). Even Prince made an appearance and brought along some Purple Rain. 

A Feast for the Senses (and the Stomachs)

But it wasn't just about underwater artistry and creative costumes. We also had a feast fit for a king (or maybe a hungry sea monster). Shoutout to everyone who brought food to share and we can’t say enough about those deep-fried chickens!

We want to send a massive thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable event. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to brave the chilly waters (and the occasional pumpkin gut) made it a truly special day.
