I have over 20 dives on this BC now. It was my first BC purchase. After diving with a variety of rental jacket style BC's the Stiletto was a huge change for the better. Jacket BC's always felt bulky and constrictive. In the water, the Stiletto feels as if you're not wearing a BC at all. I had no problem with the face-down-on-the-surface that people sometimes attribute to back-inflating BCs. The quality of the the BC is outstanding. It is really rugged. I am sure mine will last for years and years. It's got enough lift for a steel tank and a decent amount of lead, so it can take you on dives into moderately cold water. Trim and control are awesome. Dual bands hold the tank tight and steady. Very streamlined. I feel like I am zipping through the water. Overall I am very happy with it, however, it does have a few little issues.
1)The pull dump on the shoulder does not dump as easily as other BCs and sometimes feels as if you have to pull too hard on the inflator. I just put it above my head and dump the old fashion way. The butt-dumps are great however.
2) I added a crotch strap to prevent ride up, and it really enhances the BC's handling . This does not come with the BC.
3)The front weight pockets are positioned a little too close to the back of the hips. It does keep the weight out of your front, and feels less cluttered, but if you are using a steel tank, you can get a bit of the turtle-back effect. With steel tanks, I have to load all my weight up front. I have found that added a weight belt with weight right up front solves this, and has the added benefit of letting you ditch only part of your weight if need be.
Regardless of these issues, which are all addressable, I am very happy with this BC and would recommend it to anybody. Plus they are made in America, by a company that backs its products and delivers when needed.

This BCD is awesome. I bought it before I learned about BP/W setups and I am still quite happy that I bought the Stiletto. I've used it in cold MN lakes as well as in the Caribbean and I am amazed with its versatility. It provides enough lift for cold water single tank diving, yet feels sleek and fast in warm water. As the other reviewer mentioned, the ripcord system used by this BCD is in need of Zeagle's weight pockets. My only complaint with the BCD is that it doesn't come with these pockets (about $30 for the pair). These are necessary unless you have two 6lb uncoated weights. If you're on the fence about this BCD like I was, you'll be happy to know that this BCD will be a great fit for your diving needs.

Very pleased! Nice BC, well built. Plenty of adjust-ability by bolting the cummerbund on to the BC base in different places. Good integrated weight system.
Just a couple of wrinkles: I would recommend adding the Zeagle weight pouches (the yellow things that go inside the side weight pockets). You can load weights directly into the weight pockets, but I worry slightly about solid weights chafing the retaining cords. Also, like many people, I needed to move some weight up. The lower cam-band weight pockets don't work on the upper cam band, but it's easy to add a couple of small pouches there.
Overall, very comfortable, works great!
