Reviews
Love the zippered pocket in front & the Dry pocket in back. The Horizontal zipper is great and love the backpack straps for those long treks!
We were able to get a full set of gear in - bcd, fins, wetsuits, regs, mask, and other odds and ends. The only drawback is that after walking off the ship and to the pier it gets heavy. My wife ultimately could not continue to carry hers. Not the backpack's fault, it held up - maybe we need to invest in lighter gear for these trips. We were thinking we need something like this, but also with wheels. We looked at some, but were concerned about with wheels it would add too much bulk to the pack for use on a boat and also to carry in luggage on plane trips.
The front pocket area looks like it will hold a set of regs, but it isn't that big. The pocket is big enough to fit two masks inside the plastic mask boxes.
I would recommend this product. It is well built and is what it is a backpack that I believe will be very durable. This will work well with carrying gear at home as well, I'm thinking maybe my drysuit will fit nicely inside this. The weight issue is not the fault of the backpack. We looked at some that said they would hold 2 sets of gear, go for it big boy we had all we wanted with one set of gear.
