Love coral reefs? Want to learn more about these incredible ecosystems and how you can help protect them? The AWARE Coral Reef Conservation course is for everyone – divers, snorkelers, ocean enthusiasts, and anyone who cares about the health of our planet. No diving experience required!

This virtual class (held via Zoom) is a fascinating introduction to the complex world of coral reefs. You'll learn:

• How Reefs Function: Discover the intricate relationships between corals, fish, and other marine life.
• Why Reefs Matter: Understand the vital role reefs play in the ocean ecosystem (and for us!).
• The Threats They Face: Learn about the serious challenges facing coral reefs around the world.
• How You Can Help: Discover practical steps you can take to prevent further decline and support reef conservation.
• Project AWARE: Find out how divers and water enthusiasts are making a difference.

The class starts at 6pm CST and typically runs for about 3 hours. But we're more focused on learning than the clock – the exact time may vary depending on the group. You'll receive a Zoom link and password before the class begins.
