When active violence occurs, seconds count, and you can't always wait for EMS to arrive. Active Violence Emergency Training (AVERT) enables you to become an immediate responder. (AVERT) is designed to help empower and educate you or the people of your organization, to make vital survival decisions during an attack. Active shooter preparedness solutions need to include not only proper training, but also must give you the confidence and preparation to respond quickly to an active shooter situation.

How does the AVERT course work?

Avert consists of a dynamic Blended Learning curriculum. It combines online training of concepts and knowledge with a face-to-face skills session in which you do hands-on practice with a highly trained Instructor.

Self-Study- Learn about AVERT and why it is important to you as an Individual, regardless or where you may be. In the self-study portion you will focus on the following to help you prepare for the classroom portion:

-Classroom Safety

Classroom- Live scenario exercises and hands-on practice instills confidence in your team and gives them tools for how to respond. You will learn about the following:
-Warning Signs
-Situational Awareness
-Equipping Your Space
-Defend and Attack
-Escape and Evade
-Emergency Bleeding Control
