I purchased the AquaCom single diver Combox to use as a diver's telephone for a new DESCO US Navy Mk V and an antique TOA diving helmet. The Combox is surprisingly compact and light. It has a rugged and air tight ABS plastic case and simple controls. The volume is adjustable to the diver and the tender. The volume is substantial as it is a 20 watt rated device. Most others are 8 watt. Compared to other units I have seen, the price in reasonable and the quality is excellent. The user can install A A batteries or attach an external 12V battery. Mine will be used in the NAUI Worldwide Standard Dress Diving course held annually in Australia, for members of the Historical Diving Society.
Dive Right Scuba did not have the Combox in stock, but they were on order. I was kept well informed and the Combox arrived as quickly as if they were on hand.
