Description / Apeks Comfo Mouthpiece

Super soft high-grade hypo-allergenic silicone SCUBA Diving Regulator second stage ‘Comfo-Bite’ style mouthpiece, designed for extreme comfort.

The Apeks Comfobite mouthpiece is the genuine mouthpiece fitted to all Apeks primary second stages and features a bridge that joins the two bite tabs together. The purpose of the bridge is to shield the roof of the mouth from the filtered compressed air as it passes out of the mouthpiece to avoid a dry out your mouth.

All the edges of the Apeks Comforbite mouthpiece have been rounded off making it comfortable even during long dive.

These come in two sizes, small and large. Pick the one that is right for you. You don't have to clamp down on this at all, it just hangs there. It IS the MOST COMFORTABLE mouthpiece you will ever own. Read the Apeks marketing material. it is completely correct. I won't buy anything other than these for a regulator.

I have several high performance double hose regulators and the APEX Antibacterial mouthpiece is my preferred mouthpiece on my Dive Surface Valves. They resemble the French made Comfo mouthpieces, these are made in the U.K.

This is a real comfortable mouthpiece and the first I've tried with the roof-bridge. I thought IMO that it was a little short and upset that I bit through it after only a few dives. I'm trying a Trident which isn't as soft but will hopefully be more durable.

I have TMJ and have been trying out several mouthpieces, including several different custom mouthpieces. but they all still cause my jaw to fatigue and lock up. This was until tried out the Apeks mouthpiece and this one works very well. My jaw does still get a little tired at times but it does not lock up anymore. Would recommend to other divers that have TMJ.
