The Hollis 500SE Side Exhaust Regulator takes a legendary design and elevates it with modern technology. This unique regulator offers unparalleled performance for both air and trimix divers, thanks to its innovative servo-controlled valve system.
This regulator is a true testament to Hollis's commitment to innovation. They've taken their original "lever-servo valve" design from 35 years ago and perfected it, creating a regulator that delivers smooth, effortless breathing in any condition.
The 500SE's pneumatically balanced servo valve is actually a two-stage system. A small sip opens the control valve lever, creating a vacuum that instantly opens the main valve diaphragm for maximum airflow. With porting around the entire main valve, there's less restriction from the first stage, resulting in superior performance at any depth.
The over-balanced diaphragm first stage provides ideal hose routing for both backmount and sidemount configurations. It's environmentally sealed to prevent corrosion and freezing, and it's Nitrox compatible up to 40%.
