Good ideas, but need some changes

1) I wish bolt snap was on the LEFT side of the SPG. When it is on the right side, the spg (when attached to the Left shoulder D-Ring) usually faces FROM the chest to the outside. So you need your hand to turn it to face your and look at the dial.

2) The RED arrow in the BLACK screen maybe a nice and cool "tech" style, but.... you can not see it under dark condition or during the night dive.
Need to make a standart white version of the dial or at least make the arrow glow (luminescent) in the dark too , so it can be visible in the dark.

having the bolt snap permanently attached metal to metal is a bad idea when diving anywhere when entanglement is a concern, as you cannot cut yourself free, i would stroll recommend against it for technical diving, but is fine for non-entanglement recreational diving.

cheaper and safer to attach your own bolt snap with cave line so you can cut it free if you need to.

I've tried one of these on a friends rig, although it's quite handy I wouldn't bother paying that much extra just to have a boltsnap mounted to the gauge. If you need one you can fix one with a piece of cave line or with a tie zip. Especially if you're thinking about moving into cave diving I would recommend against this gauge.
