Choose Your Configuration

We understand that every technical diver has a preference for rig configuration. That is why we stock the Prism 2 in both primary setups:

  • Back-Mounted Counterlungs: This configuration keeps your chest area clean and uncluttered. It is often the preferred choice for underwater photographers or divers who need clear access to chest D-rings and stage bottle rigging. It offers a streamlined profile that glides through the water.
  • Front-Mounted Counterlungs: Traditionalists and those prioritizing breathing mechanics often prefer front-mounted lungs. This setup places the gas volume closer to the centroid of the lungs, offering exceptional ease of breathing in various trim positions. It also makes removing the counterlungs for cleaning and drying incredibly fast.

Safety and Control:

The Prism 2 BOV When things go wrong underwater, reaction time is everything. We stock the Prism 2 Bailout Valve (BOV), a critical safety upgrade for your loop. This high-performance valve allows you to switch instantly from the rebreather loop to open-circuit gas with a single flip of a lever. There is no need to remove the loop from your mouth to switch to a backup regulator—you simply flip the switch and breathe.
