Your Path to Certification:

• Academics: Complete your chosen learning path (eLearning or book/classroom).
• Pool Sessions: Two evenings spent mastering essential scuba skills and gear assembly in the pool (approx. 3 hours each night).
• Open Water Dives: Four dives over a weekend at Haigh Quarry in Kankakee. You'll demonstrate the skills you learned in the pool, explore underwater sights like sunken boats and vehicles, and do it all while staying warmer in one of our rental drysuits! We cap off the weekend with a fun cookout.
• Your Certification: You'll earn the globally recognized SDI Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive down to 60 feet / 18 meters (or 40 feet / 12 meters for Junior divers aged 10-15).

Certification is just the beginning! As a Dive Right In Scuba graduate, you get one month of free equipment rental for local diving. Join us for fun dives at Haigh Quarry, explore Lake Michigan's amazing wrecks, hop on one of our group trips, or just hang out at our social events. You'll meet plenty of new dive buddies!
