What Is The Loyalty Points Program?

To thank you for your support and to offer future incentives, we wanted to give something back, this is why we have launched this amazing Loyalty Points Program.

Our Loyalty Points Program is as simple as it sounds. While shopping at Dive Right In Scuba you will earn Loyalty Points for the money you spend. Once earned, you'll be able to use those points to pay for future purchases at Dive Right In Scuba.

The Loyalty Points Program began in March of 2009. All qualifying purchases made after that date earn points. Note that certain manufacturers do NOT participate in this program. If you are looking at a product that earns points, it will tell you the point value that you will earn. If a point value is not showing that means that you will not earn points for that product. 

How Does The Loyalty Points Program Work?

When you place an order, the total amount of the order (minus shipping and discounts) will be used to calculate the amount of points you’ve earned. These points are added to your Loyalty Points account as pending points.

All pending points are listed as such in your Loyalty Points account and will stay there until approved/confirmed by Dive Right In Scuba.

Once pending points have been approved, they will be released and your account will be credited with the value of those points. They’re now ready for you to spend on whatever you want.

You must log in to your account to view the status of your points.

During the checkout process, you'll be able to pay for your order with your points balance.
*In most cases shipping fees and taxes are excluded.

What Are The Point Values?

Currently, for every $1.00 spent at Dive Right In Scuba, you'll earn 2 points and every 20 points is worth $1.00.
For example:
   Product Cost:  $100.00
   Total Points Earned:  200
   Value of Points Earned:  $10.00

How Do You Redeem Loyalty Points?

If you have a balance in your Loyalty Points Account, you can use up to 75% of those points to pay for your Dive Right In Scuba purchase.

1. During the checkout process, on the same page where you select your payment method, there will be a box to input the amount of points you wish to redeem. 
2. Type in the amount of points you would like to spend or check the box to use all of your available points. Please note that you will need to select another payment method to cover any remaining balance of your purchase.
3. Continue the checkout process and on the confirmation page, you'll notice that the value of the points redeemed were credited towards your order. Once you confirm your order, your Loyalty Points account will be updated and the points used will be deducted from your balance.

*Any purchase made by redeeming points will only be rewarded with additional points for the remaining paid balance after points are applied.

Is There A Minimum Balance Required To Redeem Points?

Currently, there is no minimum balance required to redeem your points, but you can only redeem up to 75% of the cart’s value. Please note that you'll have to select another payment method to pay the remaining balance.

Is There A Minimum Purchase Amount Required To Use Points?

 Currently, there is no minimum purchase amount required to redeem your points.

How Many Points Can I Use on A Single Order?

You can use a maximum of 100,000 points ($5,000.00) per order. You are also only able to redeem points for up to 75% of the total of your cart before shipping. So, if you have $100 in your cart, you can only use $75 worth of points (1,500 points) towards that purchase.

Will I Earn Points For the Shipping Cost?

 No. When calculating the amount of points earned, shipping is excluded.

Will I Earn Points For Sales Tax?

No. When calculating the amount of points earned, tax is excluded.

Will I Earn Points For Discounted Products?

 No. When calculating the amount of points earned, all discounted items are excluded.

Will I Earn Points For Purchases Paid For With Points?

Any purchase made by redeeming points will only be rewarded with additional points for the balance paid after points are redeemed.

What Products Do Not Qualify For Loyalty Points?

Not all manufacturers allow us to award Loyalty Points for purchasing their products. These are their restrictions, not ours. If you don't see the Points badge showing how many points are earned, that product doesn't earn points. Also, some items, like tanks, don't earn points as they have a very low profit margin. Sale/discounted and used equipment are also not eligible for points.

Can I Earn Points For Sale Products?

 No, products that are on sale will not earn loyalty points.

What Are The Other Conditions of Use?

• Loyalty Points are only available to registered Dive Right In Scuba members.
• Loyalty Points can only be collected and used with online purchases.
• Points are only valid at Dive Right In Scuba.
• Points are non-refundable and can't be transferred between members.
• Loyalty Points are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash under any circumstances.
• When purchasing using points, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Loyalty Points Account to cover the cost of your purchase.
• When calculating the amount of points earned, shipping fees and taxes are excluded.
• Please note that we reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time without prior notice or liability.

What Happens If There Is A Problem?

Can I Combine Loyalty Points and Free Shipping?

When using loyalty points, your sub-total after points are applied must be $75 or above to qualify for free shipping. If the sub-total is below $75 and you select free shipping is selected, your order will be modified to add the correct shipping cost.

Will I Earn Loyalty Points If I’m Doing a Price Match?

If you’re doing a price match, points will not be earned. We are matching their price, we can't also give Loyalty Points.  Make sure that it's a good deal for you to do a price match, most times our Loyalty Points Program is a better deal overall.

When Are My Loyalty Points Credited?

Loyalty points are not credited until your order is marked as shipped. No exceptions! If you have points pending due to a referral, your points will be credited as soon as possible.
