I ordered this spool with the longer length. As I expected, the line really filled up the plastic spool. I used some of the spare line to attach bolt snaps, although I think that I will replace this with heavier line or bungee. Otherwise, I can remove just a little more to make the spooled line better fit and to allow the included bolt snap to clip to the hole in order to hold the line in the spool. As it came out of the box, the bolt snap barely had enough room to push past the line to clip to the holes.

I bought the 66' version of the spool. It is just what I expected, but the spool was filled very full. I ended up cutting some of the line off to help prevent bird nesting. I am sure with better skills, this would not be needed. It was just the easiest and quickest solution before my trip. The clip was brass and works very well. I did not notice any burrs or sharp edges on the clip. The yellow line is very bright and easy to see.

I ordered the 160' spool to add to my 100' spool. The spool is exactly what you'd expect it to be, and just like what you see in the picture. However, note that the 160' spool is physically larger than the 100' spool, so it's a little tougher to stow than the 100' spool. I should have expected that, but I didn't. So I'm warning everyone else! :)
In any case, the spool is a very good value, and is ready to be used immediately.
